Potted in an 18cm Blush Ceramic Pot, this mini Elephant's Ear is like a cousin of the guy normally found in the tropics or near swamps. They're bold and make a statement, kind of like a more refined looking Monstera. They're not a super fussy plant, but they're also not cool with neglect, so make sure you're ready to commit, otherwise move along.
Elephant ears need bright sunlight when grown indoors, but nothing too harsh. If you notice the leaves are looking bleached or singed (ouch), move it to a dimmer spot or add a sheer curtain, like a tasteful linen sheer curtain. Outdoors they do well in partial shade.
Keep the soil moist at all times and don’t allow the roots to dry out. Once a week should generally do it. These guys like humidity, making it ideal for growing in a steamy bathroom or kitchen, but they don't need it to survive.
Normal household temperatures 16-24°C, can cope with short periods down to 10°C. Avoid draughts.
